This paper discusses the security features of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and uses the perspective of a manager or security professional. It was presented at Collaborate 2014.

The intent is to present the key concepts and decisions that need to be made when considering how to secure OBIEE. As such this paper assumes a general familiarity with OBIEE and does not seek to describe OBIEE functionality in detail. A great many other sources of information can be found on OBIEE architecture, functionality and best practices for implementation.
